I must have been standing right next to you Laura!
For anyone who doesn't know, Hopetoun House is a stately home in South Queensferry just by the Forth Bridge. It's huge and extremely posh (should have seen the size of the chandeliers!) It's the last place I would have guessed the gig would be held at but even better for me as it was only a 10 minute drive away. The gig was semi-accoustic and the band were all sitting down except Fran. It was nice to see Neil up at the front of the stage for a change but there was none of Andy's usual antics and Dougie's swinging hips were redundant for the night. They made up for it though with the continuous banter. Every so often the music stopped to let the winners of the web competition ask the band their questions and they all took their turn in answering. The atmosphere in the crowd was better than ever. It's impossible to compare this gig with any other Travis gig I've been to because it was so unique. Best Christmas present ever. Travis YOU ROCK xx
