This was the day after the show at Virgin Megastore, so I drove back down to Irvine to see it. My seats were too far away to really get a great taste, but seeing them the night before helped quench it. Verizon is a huge amphitheatre, but they totally filled it with their energy and charisma--thath's one thing about them, they kick ass onstage. Dido, with all her light shows and heavy beats totally didn't seem to fill the theater. The couple sitting next to me had no idea who Travis was, but by the end of their set, they were hooked. It kicked ass, an amazing weekend of two Travis shows, and one very up close and personal encounter. It was the beginning of my summer 0'Travis.

Travis opened the show and Dido closed. I came for Travis though I really like Dido, too. A few rows in front of me was Ben Stiller and his wife Christine. They left right after Travis finished their set. I was jazzed to know Ben is a fan and friends with the guys. What a great show!
