Released in May 1999, Travis' second album - The Man Who became the band's breakthrough LP, going on to earn Travis two Brit Awards and winning Fran the ultimate songwriter's accolade, an Ivor Novello, for the track "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?.

By 2001, one in eight UK households owned a copy of this influential album, widely credited as opening the door for a number of UK bands who emerged after its release.

This album has now been shortlisted at this year's BRIT awards in the category - Best Album of 30 years.
