HI Lucille, I am trained as an Early Years specialist with a Literacy bent. However i have also taught in Special Needs Secondary - teaching very naughty teenage boys to read. Having trained in England i am actually not teaching now as i am living in Scotland and it is a bit difficult to get registered to teach here (i have lived abroad a bit which complicates mattters) so as i only have another 18 months here i have decided not to teach for the moment and concentrate on taking pictures. One day my own website maybe?
Good luck with the doctorate -a subject i have an interest in - a lot of my bad boys had lingistic problems. Troulbe is our ed psychs were useless and just said everyone was dyslexic except of course the ones that really were. Ahhh, the English system - what a mess!!!!! |
